Oh brother. What a Kochy response, particularly the jab at Cliff's rating system. You couldn't be more obvious. Where's your photo? At least I've posted several pics here before. What do you look like? Why have you not met up with any forumites in the years you've been here? I've only been an active member for about half a year. I cannot make it to NYC on Saturday, but that is none of your concern anyway.

If my rating system is too confusing or unofficial for your warped mind, then feel free to make up your own and add it to your lackluster show recommendation threads. It would sure beat those constant shitty threads you make in which you point out very well-known shows and don't even provide any commentary such as:

You're a real character man. Your dedication to your bullshit is astounding! Keep up the hard work. You certainly provide some decent entertainment at times.

Oh hey there lil buddy, you didn't get your feathers ruffled, did ya?

You don't know the first thing regarding what your talking about do you? Do you know who Robert Parker is? Let me help you understand the methodology of the Wine Advocate Rating System. Robert Parker's rating system employs a 50-100 point quality scale.

An extraordinary wine of profound and complex character displaying all the attributes expected of a classic wine of its variety. Wines of this caliber are worth a special effort to find, purchase, and consume.

90 - 95:
An outstanding wine of exceptional complexity and character. In short, these are terrific wines.

80 - 89:
A barely above average to very good wine displaying various degrees of finesse and flavor as well as character with no noticeable flaws.

70 - 79:
An average wine with little distinction except that it is a soundly made. In essence, a straightforward, innocuous wine.

60 - 69:
A below average wine containing noticeable deficiencies, such as excessive acidity and/or tannin, an absence of flavor, or possibly dirty aromas or flavors.

50 - 59:
A wine deemed to be unacceptable.

Now, based on his criteria, how could you possibly attempt to apply this rating system to songs performed by a rock band in a single concert without any basis or reference and score every song between 95 - 100 points?

Further, Parker hands out 90 & 91 point ratings like they were quarters at a car wash. I read a review and it tells me absolutely nothing about the clarity, depth, flavor or balance of the wine. Only until the wine hits the palette does one have the ability to distinguish its quality.

I don't need to read a review of a musical performance, the music speaks in a language unto itself. However, if someone attended the event and is able add information regarding the event and their personal experience or point to some well played music, sometimes that information is interesting to read.

Just give me the link and within a couple minutes I’ll determine if the performance is worth pursuing. And I’m not saying that your interpretive adjectation isn't welcome here, you can say whatever you want to.

Son, you sound like a broken record, spewing the same nonsense of Skobud, can’t you come up with anything more original? People who attack other people are fundamentally insecure. Why do kiss up? Skobud, really? I thought the Blue Devil nod was a solid recommendation.

I was young and naive once and certainly did my share of kissing up and set my targets high, interesting people who possessed talent, artists, engineers, musicians, successful business people in very specific disciplines etc.

Your recent habitual tendency of misconstruing my posts and making stuff up in your attempt to kiss up is juvenile and adolescent at best. In the future, if you must choose to be a part of this circle jerk, please try to be more scientific with your assumptions.

IF-IF you are this Koch guy, you sure have gotten better from the mental illness that is attributed to you. Imho, you are not Koch, tho I'm not privy to your IP Address. Peace

Btw, I enjoy Cliff and his rating system. Imo, Skobud is a good person too - even snow and rain - (that commie-lol)
